I am the final few months as the Antrim Rose 2013 and my final project is raising money for the Cedar Foundation through a Charity Gala Ball on the 8th of February in the Ramada Shaw’s Bridge Belfast.
This Charity Gala Ball is a special event to raise vital money for the Cedar Foundation. The Cedar Foundation provides a range of services that enable people with disabilities to get the most out of life and to be fully included in their communities. Their services are centred around the individual needs of each person and are delivered throughout Northern Ireland. Cedar services include – Employment & Learning, Living Options, Children & Young People’s Services and Brain Injury Services. Cedar prides itself on providing exceptional services that support children and adults with disabilities to participant in all aspects of the community. I have seen first hand the important work that Cedar does for people all over Northern Ireland and how crucial it is to continue providing these essential services. The Ramada Plaza, Shaw’s Bridge, Belfast will host our Gala Ball on Saturday the 8th of February 2014. A ticket includes a sparkling wine reception, four course meal, wine at the table, some brilliant raffle prizes and entertainment until late!
